BayWa r.e. is one of the world's leading distributors and installers of photovoltaic power plants, with a market share of almost 2% worldwide.
Through its subsidiary BayWa r.e. Solar Systems, BayWa r.e. distributes turnkey solar systems for installers: photovoltaic modules, inverters, batteries, ready-to-use technical inverter shelters and mounting systems for photovoltaic installations. The company focuses in France on installations from 36 kWp to 500 kWp.
N°2 in the sector in France, strong growth
In France, where it has been active since 2016, BayWa r.e.'s subsidiary is already number two in the sector with a 10% market share and a portfolio of more than 300 installers. In 2019, BayWa r.e. distributed more than 65 MW of panels and 100 MW of inverters on the French market alone.
BayWa r.e.'s subsidiary will continue to grow in 2020, as almost 100 MW of modules and 150 MW of inverters will have been sold by the end of the year. This represents 50% growth for the year 2020.

Since 2006, the company has been developing and distributing its own mounting system, called novotegra, which allows simple and quick installation of photovoltaic panels on roofs. The novotegra mounting systems are certified by numerous ETN certifications and have a 10-year guarantee.
